Vanderbilt Rewards Fans at Ole Miss Football Game with Ticketing Opportunity 9/19/2005 After defeating Ole Miss to move to 3-0 on the season, the Vanderbilt Ticket Office will provide fans the opportunity to apply their single game football ticket to Ole Miss toward the purchase of a sideline football season ticket. By showing a ticket stub from the Ole Miss game, whether it is a $35 sideline ticket or a $15 end zone seat, at the ticket counter inside the McGugin Center, Commodore fans can apply the face value towards the $120 season ticket. Therefore, the season ticket will only cost $85 or $105, respectively. “We had a lot of Commodore fans in ‘wait and see’ mode,” said Director of Marketing Eric Nichols. “After the Ole Miss win, we want to make it as easy as possible to jump on our bandwagon.” Vanderbilt will not prorate the season ticket for the five remaining games. The regular price of $120 is still a $15 discount off the face value of single game tickets. VU ticketing officials said the $65 end zone season tickets are sold out. Family Plans, which consist of two adult and two youth 17 & under, are still available for $199. Single game ticket prices are as follows: $10 for Richmond; $20 and $10 end zone for MTSU; $35 and $15 end zone for Kentucky; and $35 for LSU and Georgia. The $15 end zone seats are sold out for LSU and Georgia. |
