Month-Long Slate of In-Depth Forecasts Set to Prime Fans for 2005 Season 7/22/2005 Entire Series Also Airs Nationally on Fox College Sports Beginning Thursday, 8/4, FSN South unveils a programming venture unprecedented in sports television as the network delivers 24 half-hour football preview shows, one for each member school of the Atlantic Coast Conference (12) and the Southeastern Conference (12). The 2005 COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREVIEW series airs across FSN South’s entire, seven-state territory, reaching 10.6 million homes in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Every program breaks down that ACC or SEC school’s offense, defense and special team components and addresses key personnel issues and schedule implications. Each show airs in a prime time weeknight time slot and re-airs in a prime time weekend block, alongside those of other schools within the respective conference division. Beau Estes and Jenn Hildreth host the 24 shows, and veteran football reporter Paul Crane provides team perspective and interviews with coaches, key players and media who cover the schools. Also within each show, SOUTHERN SPORTS REPORT anchor Bob Fiscella and FSN South college football insider Tony Barnhart of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution lend analysis on that school. “This is a massive undertaking, but it is one which we believe enhances FSN South’s commitment to providing college football’s greatest fans with the ultimate viewing experience about their favorite team and about many teams on their 2005 schedule. On Thursday, 8/4 at 10 p.m. ET, the 2005 COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREVIEW series begins with an in-depth look at Florida State, followed by an analysis of fellow ACC member Clemson (10:30 p.m.). After breakdowns on several other ACC teams, including new member Boston College, the preview series on 8/9 begins its coverage of the SEC, with the spotlight shining on Arkansas (10 p.m.) and LSU (10:30 p.m.). Highlighting the CFP series are shows on Auburn (8/11 at 10 p.m.), which finished 13-0 after claiming the ’04 SEC title in Atlanta, and Virginia Tech (8/16 at 10 p.m.), the ACC’s ’04 regular season champion.
