Commodores Move to 10th at SEC 4/16/2005 St. Simons Island, Ga.–Luke List tied for the second-best score of the day shooting a 70 to move into fourth place and Vanderbilt moved up to 10th place after the second round of the Southeastern Conference Golf Championship. The Commodores shot 302 Saturday, four shots higher than their opening round, but find themselves 17 strokes out of second place at 48-over par. Florida is 26-over par to lead the event, five strokes better than Auburn. Georgia’s Richard Scott is one-over par 141 for individual honors. List birdied on the par 4 14th then posted eagle or better on the par5 15th. He put together rounds of 38 and 32 to finish even par 70. He is at 143, three-over for the tourney. Vanderbilt’s Mark Donnell, who opened with a 76, had a good start to his round. He birdied on his final hole to finish with a 74. Dos Goldsmith and Will Armstrong each posted a 79, while freshman Brett Lange shot 87. The tournament concludes Sunday. The championship is being played at the Sea Island Golf Club.
