BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. — Chris Brady carded two-over par with a 74 to pace Vanderbilt during the second round of the Bryan National Collegiate Saturday.  The Commodores are in sole possession of 11th place at 43-over par heading into the final day of competitionon Sunday.

Duke currently leads heading into Sunday’s final round. The Blue Devils are one-over par after tying Tennessee with a 293 in the second round.  

Tennessee’s Violeta Retamoza shot one-under 71 to lead a strong field by one shot moving into first place.  Brady moved into a tie for 17th place.  Liebelei Lawrence posted the second best score for the Commodores with a 78 while Helen Rose-Richards added an 81. Kristen Svicarovich added an 84 for Vanderbilt while while Julie Bartholomew added an 80.
