Mullins Reinstated
Vanderbilt Junior left-handed pitcher Ryan Mullins has been reinstated to team. He will be in uniform for the Tennessee Tech game tonight. Mullins was suspended the week of March 6 for a violation of team rules.

Game Rescheduled
Wednesday’s game was rescheduled from Tuesday due to rain and the chance of severe thunderstorms in the Nashville area.

Alabama This Weekend
The Commodores resume Southeastern Conference play this weekend when they host Alabama Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s game will be televised on CSS TV.

The Crimson Tide lead the SEC Western Division with a 3-0 record and are 18-5 overall. Alabama plays Jacksonville State Wednesday night before travelling to Nashville.

Commodores Go 1-2 at Mississippi State
Vanderbilt opened the SEC season last weekend in cold and rainy conditions at Mississippi State. Jensen Lewis went 8.0 innings and gave up two runs on seven hits in helping lead the Commodores to a 10-3 victory in the series opener. It was Lewis’s fourth win of the season. VU then dropped the second game 5-4 and the third game 5-1.
