Commodores Second at Seminole Intercollegiate 3/8/2005 TALLAHASSEE – Vanderbilt shot a one-over par 289 Tuesday to capture second place at Florida State’s Seminole Intercollegiate golf tournament. Coastal Carolina led wire-to-wire to win with 866, two-over par as a team for 54 holes. The Commodores were 14-over, three shots better than third place Central Florida. Luke List was Vanderbilt’s best individual finisher in eighth, shooting one-under 71 today to end up at even par 216. East Tennessee State’s Rhys Davies was the medalist at nine-under par. Senior Mark Donnell had a strong tournament, placing in a tie for ninth at one-over par. Freshman Brett Lange, who had an 80 on the opening day, turned in a solid even-par 72 Tuesday while Dos Goldsmith and Will Armstrong shot 76. The event was played at the Golden Eagle Country Club.
