VU Baseball Plays Host To Ball State 3/4/2005 The Vanderbilt baseball team plays host to Ball State this weekend at Charles Hawkins Field. The two teams will face-off in a three-game weekend series. Friday’s game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. CT, with the first pitch of Saturday’s game slated for 2 p.m. Sunday’s finale is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. The 13th-ranked Commodores entered the weekend with a 7-0 record. Vanderbilt’s Ryan Mullins is slotted to be on the mound Friday, with Jensen Lewis (Saturday) and Matt Buschmann (Sunday) rounding out the weekend rotation. Commodore fans who cannot make it to Hawkins Field will be able to follow the Dores on the web.
