Commodore Golfers 17th at Florida 3/4/2005 GAINESVILLE – Vanderbilt’s women’s golf team had a rocky start at the 33rd Annual Lady Gator Invitational Friday. The Commodores shot 319 to land in 17th place, trailing team leader Wake Forest’s 294 over the difficult University of Florida Golf Club layout. Chris Brady had an eight-over 78 to pace the Vanderbilt squad with sophomore classmate Kristen Svicarovich at 79. Three freshmen rounded out the Commodore team; Liebelei Lawrence came in at 80, Helen-Rose Richards shot 82 and Devon Unkeless had an 88. Play continues Saturday and concludes Sunday.
