Vucommodores.com Gets Facelift Monday 2/25/2005 Vanderbilt’s official athletic web site, vucommodores.com, will have a distinctly new look and additional features on Monday. Fans will see a cleaner and more modern graphic design at first glance Monday. Beyond the eye appeal, there are some helpful additions to the site. For instance, Gameday Central has been prominently added to the middle of the front page, just below the top stories of the day. Fans planning to attend major sporting events will find information about tickets, parking, directions, media coverage and more in this new service-oriented section. There is also a new “Ask Us” section in which visitors can submit questions about Vanderbilt athletics and receive a reply from the appropriate administrator. The new site will also include a new premium content area, which this spring will focus upon the live webcasting of all home baseball games. It is hoped that next fall this will expand to include many sports and special events. Vucommodores.com will continue to bring hundreds of pages of information regarding the varsity athletics program along with timely news releases and announcements. |
