Commodores Begin New Year with Home Tilt Against Louisiana-Lafayette Vanderbilt starts the new year with a home contest against visiting Louisiana-Lafayette on Sunday, Jan. 2. Louisiana-Lafayette evened its overall mark at 5-5 thanks to a 3-pointer by Chris Cameron in the final second for a 71-70 win against McNeese State on Dec. 23. The Ragin’ Cajuns are led by East Tennessee State transfer Tiras Wade’s 19.7 points a game. Sunday’s game marks the second meeting in the series.
