Vanderbilt Student-Athlete Children’s Holiday Party 12-6-04 12/6/2004 The Vanderbilt Student-Athlete Children’s Holiday Party will be held Dec. 10 (Friday) from 10 a.m. until Noon on the main floor of Memorial Gym. This is a venue change from past years. The Commodores will host 58 first-graders from Ross Elementary School. The event will begin with the singing of Christmas Carols and then Santa (who looks a lot like defensive tackle Matt Clay) will arrive around 10:30 am to distribute gifts, followed by a Pizza Party Lunch. The gifts for the children are purchased by the Vanderbilt student-athletes with their own money. The party is sponsored by the Student-Athlete Advisory Board. HOLIDAY PARTY FACTS: |
