Season Ticket Sales Surpass Last Year’s Total For Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball With two days remaining before the Commodore men’s basketball team tips off the 2004-05 campaign, Vanderbilt officials announced Tuesday that season ticket sales have surpassed those sold a year ago. The number of season tickets sold for the 2004-05 season eclipsed the 7,200 mark Tuesday, surpassing last year’s total by more than 400. “Coming off an incredible run last year and reaching the Sweet 16, we have carried that momentum into season ticket sales,” Director of Marketing Eric Nichols said. “With 25 percent of our gym priced at only $75, the affordable tickets allow Nashville families to experience the distinctively collegiate atmosphere in Memorial Gym.” Season ticket packages still can be purchased through November, prior to the start of single-game ticket sales in early December. Fans can buy the discounted season tickets several ways: on-line at CommodoreGameday.com; by calling 615-322-GOLD; or at the Vanderbilt Ticket Office located in the McGugin Center on Jess Neely Drive.
