Vanderbilt Men’s Soccer to Davidson adidas Classic The Vanderbilt men’s soccer team travels to Davidson, N.C., for the 2004 Davidson adidas Classic. The Commodores play the host Wildcats Friday at 7 p.m. ET and UNC-Greensboro Sunday at 1 p.m. Vanderbilt enters the tournament with a 1-1 record after a 5-0 victory over Drury. The Commodores are looking for their first ever win over Davidson and UNC-Greensboro. Vanderbilt is 0-2-1 vs. Davidson and 0-4-0 vs. UNC-Greensboro. Last season, VU and Davidson played to a 1-1 tie in the Vanderbilt PUMA Classic. The last time the Commodores and UNC-Greensboro played was 1996 – a 3-0 VU loss. John Krause, Brent Richard and Joe Germanese all lead the Commodores with three points, while Jamie Gilbert and Casey Steen total two points.
