Vanderbilt Football Announces 2004 Promotional Schedule 8-3-04 For the first time in several years, every Vanderbilt home football game will include promotions for Commodore fans. Highlights on the schedule include two different replica jersey giveaways commemorating the 1974 and 1982 football teams. Also on the schedule is a post-game fireworks show, rally towels, shakers, trading cards, and ticket specials. “This heavy promotional schedule is simply a response to what we have been told by our fans,” Director of Marketing and Promotions Eric Nichols said. “Through our surveys and grassroots initiatives like “Commodores in the Community” and “Behind the ‘Dores”, Vanderbilt fans have said they enjoy when we give away ‘free stuff’.
