The Most Memorable Games of the Last 50 Years Thank you for submitting your choices for the Most Memorable Vanderbilt Football Games of the Last Fifty Years. Stay tuned as the top six games will be announced during the 2004 football season. Number six on the list will be revealed at the opening home game versus South Carolina September 4. As a part of the marketing department’s 2004 promotional schedule, Vanderbilt fans had the opportunity to vote for the six most memorable games in the past 50 years of Commodore football. From the Gator Bowl victory in 1955 to the 1999 overtime win at Ole Miss, the top 10 games have been chosen — it was up to you, the fans, to decide which six rate as the most exciting Vanderbilt moments.
