Worth Scott Named to the SEC Good Works Team 5/24/2004
Worth Scott Named to the SEC Good Works Team BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Senior outfielder Worth Scott was named to the Southeastern Conference Good Works Team today. Scott has served as the baseball representative on the Vanderbilt Student-Athlete Advisory Board and participates in the VU Student-Athlete Holiday Party where student-athletes use personal funds to purchase gifts for underprivileged children. He has also helped with the Student-Athlete Field Day for the past three years and has been active in the annual Baseball Halloween Party at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center. Scott also regularly meets with children following baseball games for autographs and photos. The Baseball Good Works Team highlights SEC athletes who give back to their communities. This is the first season a Baseball Good Works Team has been selected. |
