NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Existing Vanderbilt football ticket holders looking to guarantee their seats for the 2004 season are asked to renew this week.

Several methods for renewing season tickets are available. In addition to mailing forms and visiting the McGugin Athletic Center Ticket Office, season ticket holders can easily renew on-line at www.commodoregameday.com.

All on-line season ticket renewals are eligible to enter a contest with the lucky fan winning a chance to join the Commodores as a member of the official team travel party for one game. To gain eligibility, go to www.commodoregameday.com and click the ticket icon in the upper right hand corner of the front page.

The Commodores’ primary season ticket price is $140 per person. The athletic department is also selling three packages less than $140: an south end zone ticket for $99; a Family Plan feature four tickets in south end zone Sections K-L for $215 ($53.75 per person) and faculty/staff tickets for $70.

The $140 season ticket plan is a $54 savings off the total of all six individual-priced Vanderbilt home games.

Bobby Johnson’s Commodores will feature one of the NCAA’s most experienced starting lineups. Twenty-one starters, including the entire defensive unit, are expected back in 2004. The roster is highlighted by 2003 All-Southeastern Conference defensive end Jovan Haye, senior offensive tackle Justin Geisinger, All-SEC quarterback hopeful Jay Cutler and linebacker Moses Osemwegie.

The Commodores open the season at home Sept. 4 against SEC Eastern Division foe South Carolina. They also host Mississippi State, Rutgers, Eastern Kentucky and Florida before concluding their home schedule against Tennessee on Nov. 20. All Commodore home games will be played in Vanderbilt Stadium.
