NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 22nd-ranked Vanderbilt men’s tennis team plays host to 58th-ranked Middle Tennessee State at the Brownlee O. Currey Jr. Tennis Center on Wednesday at 2 p.m. CT.
Last weekend, the Commodores dropped a pair of close matches against top 20 SEC opponents Tennessee (then No. 17) and Georgia (No. 10). The Commodores travel to Kentucky this Saturday before returning to Nashville to play host to Tulane on Sunday. The 2004 regular season concludes with a match against Mississippi State to be played at Belmont University on Sunday, April 18. Senior Chad Harris leads the Commodores into the week as the nation’s 24th-ranked singles player. Junior Matt Lockin is currently ranked No. 64, one place ahead of classmate Scott Brown.
