Vanderbilt Freshman Luke List Named as the SEC Men’s Golfer of the Week After a weekend in which he finished in a tie for third at the Seminole Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla., Vanderbilt rookie golfer Luke List has been selected as the Southeastern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week according to an announcement made by the SEC media relations office. List shot rounds of 68-78-71 for a three-day total of 1-over par 217 as the Black and Gold completed tournament play, at the Golden Eagle Country Club, in third position. A Ringgold, Ga., native, List has shown tremendous promise throughout his initial fall and spring campaign by posting five top-10 finishes in six career events with a stroke average of 72.40. During the fall season, he established a record for the most shots under par in a single round with a 65 during final day action at the Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate. He also finished in a tie for 10th to help lead his squad to the team title at the Coca-Cola Tournament of Champions in Knoxville, Tenn., from Oct 20-21. The freshman sensation will take to the links again with his Vanderbilt teammates over Mar. 7-9 at the Hyatt Dorado Beach Intercollegiate in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
