Jeremy Sowers Named to “Louisville Slugger’s” Pre-Season All-American Baseball Team 12-24-03 Vanderbilt junior left-handed pitcher Jeremy Sowers was named to the “Louisville Slugger’s” Pre-Season All-America Baseball Team as selected by Collegiate Baseball. Sowers (6-1, 175, Jr., Louisville, Ky.) is one of four Southeastern Conference players named to the first team. Sowers was an All-SEC second team selection last season with a 7-5 record and 2.50 ERA. He won his last seven regular-season decisions while leading all SEC pitchers with 123 strikeouts and tied for league-high honors with a 2.50 ERA. The Commodores open the season Feb. 20 with a three-game series vs. Southern Illinois at Hawkins Field. |
