Hahn, Mullins-Hall, Bryant Notch Event Wins at MTSU Indoor Track & Field Invitational 12/9/2003 Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Two Commodore track and field standouts from a year ago, junior Josie Hahn and sophomore Amanda Mullins-Hall, opened the 2003-04 indoor season in fine fashion by posting individual victories Sunday at the Middle Tennessee State Track & Field Invitational. Hahn, who set four school records during an All-American campaign last year, captured the high jump competition with a leap of 5’6″. Mullins-Hall, who narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships last summer, showed solid form by winning the 55-meter hurdles in 8.28. Another Commodore, sophomore Latisha Bryant, showed excellent form in Vanderbilt’s first competition of the indoor season by comfortably winning the 800 meters in 2:19.50. It was Hahn’s second consecutive high jump victory at the meet.
