Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball To Hold Black-Gold Scrimmage on Sunday 10-22-03 10/22/2003 The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team will hold a Black-Gold scrimmage Sunday, Oct. 26, in Memorial Gym from noon to 1 p.m. Admission is free. It is the first opportunity for Commodore fans to see the 2003-04 squad, featuring All-America candidate Jenni Benningfield, fellow senior Hillary Hager, and a highly touted seven-member freshman class. The women’s basketball team takes part in a pair of exhibition games against Mike White’s All-Stars (Nov. 11) and Athletes in Action (Nov. 17) before beginning the regular season at the Banknorth Classic in Burlington, Vt., Nov. 21, against South Alabama. |
