Eight minutes later, Northwestern’s Kevin Earnest hit a 15-foot shot by freshman goalkeeper Conor Ellinger to tie the game at one each. Vanderbilt totaled eight shots in the game, while Northwestern numbered 13. VU only had one corner kick compared to NU’s nine.
