Commodores Selected to SEBaseball.com’s All SEC Summer Team 8-15-03 The Vanderbilt University baseball team was well represented on the 2003 SEBaseball.com’s All SEC Summer Team. Six players received recognition — three with first-team honors (tied with LSU for the most from one university), and two more at Honorable Mention. Third baseman Warner Jones (Cape Cod), pitcher Jeremy Sowers (Cape Cod) and pitcher Ryan Mullins (New England Collegiate) were all selected to the first team, while outfielder Worth Scott and shortstop Ryan Klosterman earned honorable mention honors. First baseman Cesar Nicolas was recognized as the top individual performer for his three home run, .312 batting average performance in the Cape Cod Baseball League Championship series where he earned MVP honors.
