Day One Results Get Acrobat Reader

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Vanderbilt men’s tennis team concluded the first day of the Crimson Tide Invitational with 11 total victories, including nine in singles play.

The duo of Adam Baker and Blake Bazarnik advanced to the second round of the Crimson doubles draw with an 8-2 victory over Chattanooga’s Alex Dutnarciuc and William Disterdick. Alex DiValerio and Bryant Salcedo also posted an 8-2 victory in their first round doubles match, defeating Georgia State’s Juan Pablo Gutierrez and Lucas Santana in the White Draw.

Six different Commodores saw action in singles play Friday afternoon. Alex Zotov, Charlie Jones, Bryant Salcedo, Bazarnik and Baker all advanced to the second round of their respective draws, while Bazarnik, Jones and Salcedo will play in quarterfinal matches on Saturday.
