The Vanderbilt men’s golf team will finish their fall competition this Sunday through Tuesday at the Tavistock Collegiate at the Isleworth Country Club in Windermere, Fla, in a field that features seven of the top 30 teams in America.

The Commodores, ranked 17th in the first Golfstat rankings of the 2015-16, will tee it up against UCF, North Carolina (#16), South Carolina (#26), Washington State, Augusta, Ohio State, UNLV, Florida (#23), Arizona State (#10), Texas Tech, California (#15), Illinois (#3), North Florida, and New Mexico next week.

“We have had a really good week of preparation since our last event,” said Vanderbilt head coach Scott Limbaugh. “Our focus has been on improving and the guys have been energized. We know the type of team we have when we have the right mindset.”

Vanderbilt will send senior Carson Jacobs, junior Matthias Schwab, sophomore Theo Humphrey, and freshmen Will Gordon and Patrick Martin to play on the par-72, 7,544-yard Isleworth Country Club.

“We are looking forward to competing this week against a very good field on a championship golf course,” said Limbaugh.

The Commodores will tee off at 8:25 ET Sunday morning with Texas Tech and California. Live scoring can be found throughout the weekend at Golfstat.com.
