NASHVILLE, Tenn. — On Sunday, Beatrice Juskeviciute and Brooke Overholt concluded competition at the Lithuanian and Canadian Outdoor Championships.
Juskeviciute claimed the Lithuanian heptathlon title by more than 1,000 points, totaling 5,905 points after two days of competition and seven events. She PRed in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.33 seconds on Day 1. On Day 2, she recorded a 5.87-meter mark in the long jump, a 41.16-meter throw in the javelin and a time of 2:17.17 in the 800 meters.
Overholt was the runner-up to the Canadian 400-meter hurdles title, turning in a time of 56.17 seconds in the final. Her time was just 0.03 seconds behind reigning NCAA 400-meter hurdles champion Savannah Sutherland who earned first place.
