The Vanderbilt golf programs have established an annual award in honor of Mason Rudolph, the former men’s coach and one of the greatest golfers in the state’s history.
The Rudolph Cup was announced at a recent banquet that honored Mason and his wife, Carol, for their many contributions to Vanderbilt University and the sport of golf. The Rudolph Cup will be awarded annually to the individual that makes the greatest contribution to Commodore golf.
Not surprisingly, the first recipient of the Rudolph Cup was Mason Rudolph, who coached the men for five years and then served as Director of Golf.
