Golf alumni on the PGA Tour

The Commodores currently have three men’s alumni who are playing on the PGA Tour or who are attempting to qualify for the tour at Q School. Here’s what the three are up to.

Brandt Snedeker
Tour: PGA Tour
Last Tournament: The Ryder Cup in Chicago, Ill.
Next Tournament: HSBC Champions – Mission Hills Golf Club – Olazabal – Guangdong, China
Notes on Sneds: Sneds plays in his first tournament this weekend since the Ryder Cup and since the birth of his second child, Austin, on October 14.

Luke List
Tour: Web.com Tour (Season over)
Last Tournament: List finished in a tie for 13th at the Web.com Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch, which earned him a fourth place finish on the Web.com money list. The fourth place finish for the season gives List his PGA Card for the 2013 season.
Notes on Luke: The 2007 Vanderbilt graduate will play the world’s best beginning in 2013 on the PGA Tour. Read more about Luke and the other qualifiers from the Web.com tour here.

Jon Curran
Tour: PGA Qualifying School
Last Tournament: Curran made it through the first stage of the PGA Q School out of Florence, S.C., at the Florence Golf Club. Curran finished in a tie for 11th with a total of 277 (64-71-70-72). The second qualifying stage takes place in the middle of November at six different locations, and if Curran advances to the final stage, it takes place November 28-December 3 at PGA West.
