ATHENS, Ga. — No. 1 Vanderbilt and Georgia will play the rubber game of the three game set Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. CT at Foley Field. The game will be televised on CSS.
Junior lefthander Cody Crowell (2-1. 4.02 ERA) will take the hill for the Commodores, while the Bulldogs will send sophomore southpaw Jason Leaver (1-1, 4.83 ERA) to the mound.
In Friday night’s opener, Dominic de la Osa’s three-run double in the top of the ninth broke a 5-5 tie to lift Vanderbilt to a 8-5 comeback victory (Recap). Georgia rebounded on Saturday to even the series after Nathan Moreau pitched seven innings of four-hit shutout baseball to lead UGA to a 7-0 win over the ‘Dores (Recap).
