Funeral Arrangements for Kwane Doster Announced by Family Members in Tampa The family of Kwane Doster has announced that services for the former Vanderbilt student and football standout will be held this Thursday and Friday (Dec. 30 and 31) in Tampa, Fla. Doster, 21, died early Sunday in his hometown from injuries sustained in a shooting. He is survived by his mother, Kelly; one brother, Jermaine Doster; one sister, Chakana Howard; an aunt, Harriet; and numerous other relatives. A memorial service for Doster will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, from 5-7 p.m. (ET), at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service is Friday at 1:00 p.m. (ET) at First Baptist Church of Port Tampa. A public burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Tampa. The Rev. John Giles will officiate both services.
