NASHVILLE — On Wednesday, Vanderbilt football added 19 new student-athletes on National Signing Day, a group that featured players from nine different states and fills 11 different position across the roster. All the while, the Commodores remain knee-deep in preparation for their trip to take on Baylor in the Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl in Houston on Dec. 27.
Head coach Derek Mason sat down with the Commodore Insider Podcast to reflect on National Signing Day and discuss the impact of his most recent signing class. He then previews Vanderbilt’s matchup with Baylor and the importance of bowl practice for his roster.
