DURHAM, N.C. — Vanderbilt senior John Ebert holds a two-stroke lead heading into the final 18 holes of the 2008 Coca-Cola Individual Collegiate at the Duke Golf Club.

Ebert shot a pair of one-under 70’s to open up a two-shot advantage over North Carolina’s Chase MacFarland through 36 holes. Commodore freshman Trey DelGreco stands in a three-way tie for third place at two-over. Florida’s Tim McKenney and Augusta State’s Carter Newman are also in third place, just four strokes off of Ebert’s pace.

Vanderbilt’s Craig Tallent is tied for 20th place in the field of 63. Tallent and Guilford’s Peter Latimer went nine-over through Monday’s 36 holes of play. Only three Commodores traveled to Durham for the two-day event.

Tuesday’s final round is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. CT on the par-71, 6961-yard layout of the Duke Golf Club. All three Commodores will leave from the first tee, with Tallent going off at 7:36 alongside Latimer and East Carolina’s Adam Stephenson.
