CARY, N.C. — Both Holly Staff and Valeria Ray earned victories in straight sets on Saturday as Vanderbilt women’s tennis opened play Saturday at the ITA All-American Championship at Cary Tennis Park.
With the victories, each will move on in pre-qualifying for the main draw and have to win a pair of matches on Sunday. Staff is set to take on Maddy Zampardo of NC State at 10 a.m. CT, with Ray facing Iowa State’s Anna Supapitch Kuearum 30 minutes later.
