NASHVILLE, Tenn. — After a weekend of rest, the Vanderbilt track and field team will split up and hit the road to compete at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Friday and Saturday and the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday.

THE LAST TIME OUT
• The Commodores hosted their second indoor meet of the season, the Vanderbilt Invitational, where student-athletes registered nine event wins, broke two school records and posted 17 marks ranking top 10 in program history
• In the seeded division of the long jump, Lena Gooden set the program standard in round 3 with a 6.21-meter jump, but Anaya Webster responded with a 6.23-meter mark in round 5 to set the Vandy record
• Jayden Hill set the school record in the 600 meters with a time of 1:28.76 but was quickly bumped into second position as freshman Janie Ford finished the race in 1:27.61 to win the event and break the program record

DORES IN THE RANKINGS 
• The Commodores checked in at No. 32 in the USTFCCCA’s first national team rankings of the 2026 season
• Vandy is the third-ranked team in the South Region
• Six of Vanderbilt’s event squads, 60-meter hurdles (third), long jump (fifth), triple jump (sixth), 400 meters (seventh), high jump (ninth) and 800 meters (13th) are rated top 15 in the USTFCCCA’s event squad rankings

SPRINT SUCCESS
• Vanderbilt had a trio of runners record program all-time top 10 marks in both the 200 and 400 meters at the Vanderbilt Invitational
• Donelson’s 200-meter time of 25.38 seconds earned a runner-up finish and is the No. 7 mark in Vanderbilt history
• Alima Kassim and London Jackson-Bray registered marks of 24.56 and 24.58 seconds, respectively, which are ranked ninth and tied for 10th in the program’s record books
• Donelson, who won the event, clocked 53.32 seconds in the 400 meters, ranked third all-time at Vandy
• Faith Franklin and Joy Moorer recorded times of 53.43 and 54.61 seconds, respectively, which are the fourth and eighth-fastest performances in school history
• Commodores posted 11 marks ranking top 10 in school history in spring events at the Rod McCravy Memorial
• To end the weekend in Louisville, the 4×400-meter relay team of Moorer, Franklin, Allyria McBride and Madyson Wilson clocked 3:34.48, which is the second-ranked time in Vanderbilt history
• In their collegiate debuts, Jackson-Bray and Kylah Woods turned in program all-time top 10 times in the 60 meters

OVER THE HURDLE
• At the Rod McCravy Memorial, Falon Spearman broke her own school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a 8.17-second time
• At the season-opening Commodore Challenge, Devyn Parham, Santana Spearman and Taylor McKinnon PRed to improve their marks as the third, fourth and fifth-ranked 60-meter hurdlers in Vanderbilt history
• Vandy’s trio of 60-meter hurdlers moved onto the event final at the Vanderbilt Invitational as each Dore won their respective heat
• Taylor McKinnon won the final race with a personal-best time of 8.27 seconds, which moved her into fourth all-time at Vanderbilt
• Ford added her name to the record books with the No. 8 60-meter hurdles time in school history

A MULTI-TALENTED CREW
• Since 2023, Vanderbilt has had at least one scoring performer in the pentathlon or heptathlon at the SEC Indoor and Outdoor Championships
• Parham and Marta Sivina, who scored at both the indoor and outdoor conference meets are returners for the Commodores this season
• At the Vanderbilt Invitational, Sivina and Parham placed first and second in the pentathlon with respective scores of 3,979 and 3,948 points
• Sivina is ranked second in school history in the pentathlon behind 2023 SEC champion and first-team All-American Beatrice Juskeviciute
• Ford, the 2025 New Balance Nationals pentathlon champion, joins the Commodores’ multi crew this season
• Her 3,941-point score is a New Balance Nationals meet record and the No. 4 all-time pentathlon score by a U.S. high school girl
