From Liz Anderson to Alyson Hasty to Meagan Martin and more, the Commodores come away from their three meets with new personal records, a new school record, and the title as top collegian in two events for the weekend.

In Seattle, Anderson set a new school record with her 3K time of 9:24.04–a good 16 seconds better than her previous personal record of 9:40.66. Then there was Jordan White, whose 4:46.71 mile set another school record.

Alyson Hasty set a new lifetime personal record in the pole vault in Birmingham, clearing the bar in the pole vault at 11-7.75, her second week in a row setting a new personal best.

Meanwhile, Meagan Martin notched the title of top collegian in the vault.

“Meagan changed a few important technical positions at takeoff today and really looked good! She had 2 close misses at a 4m bar,” said assistant coach Clark Humphreys.

Brionne Williams was the top collegian in the high jump with her mark of 5-8.75.

“It was a solid performance for the Birmingham native who had lots of family support on hand,” said Humphreys.

In St. Louis, Grace Orders finished tenth at the USA Cross Country nationals in the junior race with a 6K time of 21:52 in difficult conditions.

“It was a great effort on her part,” said head coach Steve Keith. “It was 18 degrees out and we had 20mph winds that made this very challenging.

The Dores take off next weekend as they prepare for the upcoming SEC Indoor Championships slated for the weekend of February 24th.
