NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt track and field had seven student-athletes qualify for the preliminary round of the NCAA Championship in Jacksonville, Florida.
Kristen Denk comes into the event with the highest ranking at fourth in pole vault (4.36 meters), followed by Caleigh Lofstead (26th, 4.05 meters) and Margaret Ollinger (39th, 4.01 meters).
Haley Walker comes in at 23rd for the 800 meters (2:06.25), followed by Jenn Edobi (34th, 2:06.85) and Reagan Bustamante (40th, 2:07.06).
Grace Jensen was the lone qualifier for the 1,500 at 35th (4:21.40).
The NCAA Preliminaries will be held May 23-25 with the top 12 competitors advancing to the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas (June 5-8).
