NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — T.J. Jordan scored 15 points to lead No. 23 Old Dominion to an 80-65 victory over No. 20 Vanderbilt on Sunday.

Five Lady Monarchs scored in double figures to hand Commodores coach Melanie Balcomb her second-worst home loss in six years at Vanderbilt.

Old Dominion (9-3) blew the game open with an 18-4 run early in the second half to extend a 38-33 lead to 56-37. Jordan made two 3-pointers during the flurry and made four in the second half.

The Lady Monarchs led by as many as 28 points and made six of nine 3-pointers in the second half.

Jennifer Risper and Liz Sherwood each scored 16 points to lead Vanderbilt (9-4). The Commodores shot 41.4 percent from the field and made only four of 17 3-pointers.

The Commodores have lost three of their past five games and have dropped two home non-conference games in the same season for the first time since 1998-99.
