Dores Conclude Fall Action in Puerto Rico

Bridget Stammel and Holly Staff go undefeated in singles

SAN JUAN, P.R. – In the final action of the fall season, the Vanderbilt women’s tennis team concluded the San Juan Invitational on Sunday.

Both Holly Staff and Bridget Stammel completed 3-0 records in singles at the tournament thanks to wins on Sunday.

Staff – currently ranked No. 64 in the ITA rankings – took down the No. 75 player in the country, Mila Saric of Florida State by a score of 6-4, 7-5. Stammel’s victory was also in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0, in her match against Adeline Flach of Auburn.

Anessa Lee, ranked No. 76, won in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2, against Auburn’s Anastasia Astakhova. Celia-Belle Mohr also defeated Kaitlyn Carnicella of Auburn, 6-2, 6-3.
