Devyn Parham, Marta Sivina finished seventh and eighth, respectively, in the heptathlon

WALNUT, Calif. – Vanderbilt’s Devyn Parham and Marta Sivina wrapped up their first heptathlon of the season Thursday at Mt. SAC Relays finishing seventh and eighth, respectively, in the elite division, Section 2.

In Parham’s first-ever heptathlon, she totaled 4,777 points. On Day 2, she recorded a 5.02-meter mark in the long jump and clocked a personal-best time of 2:20.51 in the 800 meters.

Sivina compiled a score of 4,735 points to place eighth overall. She registered a 5.59-meter mark in the long jump and a 32.56-meter throw in the javelin. To end the day, she PRed in the 800 meters, turning in a time of 2:16.07.
