Williams press conference on Missouri to SEC | Official Announcement
The University of Missouri will become the 14th member of the Southeastern Conference effective July 1, 2012, the league announced Sunday morning.
Vanderbilt Vice Chancellor David Williams commented on the addition of Missouri to the SEC.
“Vanderbilt University, its Board, Administration, faculty, staff, students, coaches and student-athletes are happy to welcome the University of Missouri into the SEC family. The Commodore Nation looks forward to competition, fellowship and friendship with such a great institution of higher education as the University of Missouri.”
