NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt track and field will close out the road portion of its regular season on Saturday at the LSU Alumni Gold in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
This outdoor season, the Commodores have broken school records in all event disciplines and added several more marks to program all-time top 10 lists. The team currently sits third in the USTFCCCA South Region Rankings, and 13 Vandy event squads are ranked top 10 in the USTFCCCA’s event squad rankings.
Most recently, select members of the track and field team headed west to compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays. On the West Coast, Jayden Hill and Lily Kriegel reset their own school records in their respective events, the 800 and 5,000 meters. Tyla Lumley also added her name to the program all-time top 10 list in the 5,000 meters.
