NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt baseball head coach Tim Corbin announced changes within the baseball staff, including the additions of Amy Elkus and Kalista Gioglio.
Brooks Webb, previously the director of baseball operations, has been elevated to general manager and chief of staff, as Elkus joins the program to fill Webb’s former role. Gioglio will serve as the program assistant and assistant to the head coach.
Elkus is familiar with the state of Tennessee, as she comes to Vanderbilt from Austin Peay. She spent three seasons with the Governors’ women’s basketball program as director of operations. She was directly responsible for all aspects of team travel, while overseeing all day-to-day operations of the program.
Elkus is a two-time graduate of Kentucky, where she received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science before earning her master’s degree in sport leadership.
Giogligo comes to West End after spending time with the West Virginia wrestling program. She spent two years with the Mountaineers as their director of operations, serving the program in the areas of operations, team travel, camps, clinics and team events.
Gioglio received her bachelor’s degree in sport administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was a four-year letter winner with the field hockey program. A native of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in sport management from West Virginia.
