Vanderbilt men's golf alum Brandt Snedeker wins the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic to collect his 10th career PGA TOUR victory

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Vanderbilt men’s golf alum Brandt Snedeker (Class of 2003) captured his first PGA TOUR title in over seven years, as he won the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic with a 72-hole score of 18-under 266.

The 19-year PGA TOUR veteran posted round scores of 67-66-67-66 to claim his 10th career PGA TOUR victory. It is Snedeker’s first win on the PGA TOUR in 2,820 days exactly, as his last victory on The Circuit came at the Wyndham Championship on Aug. 19, 2018.

The longest-tenured Pro Dore was the leader in the clubhouse on Sunday, as he walked off the course after he carded 5-under 66 in Round 4. He had to wait until the final group concluded play at ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, as Mark Hubbard posted a bogey on his final hole of the day to give Snedeker the one-stroke victory.

Snedeker’s victory at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic on Sunday marks the first time a Vanderbilt alum has won a PGA TOUR event since 2023, when Luke List won a five-way playoff to capture the title at the Sanderson Farms Championship on Oct. 8, 2023.

Current Vanderbilt men’s golf senior Wells Williams and Vandy alum Gordon Sargent also competed in the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic. Both missed the cut as Sargent carded 2-over and Williams finished 4-over in his second-ever PGA TOUR event.

The Vanderbilt men’s golf team earned the No. 3 seed at the 2026 NCAA Athens Regional. Play takes place May 18-20 at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Georgia. Check back with VUCommodores.com for a full preview of the 2026 NCAA Athens Regional.
