BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Vanderbilt had 47 student-athletes named to the 2013-14 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Southeastern Conference Friday.
The list recognizes all student-athletes who were in their first year of competition at their particular institution, and achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above. Additionally, the student-athlete must have been on scholarship or won a letter, completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution and been a member of the varsity team for the sport’s entire NCAA Championship segment.
