ATHENS, Ga. — The Vanderbilt women’s tennis doubles pair of Jackie Wu and Lauren Mira fell in the round of 16 at the 2012 NCAA Division I Women’s Doubles Championship.
Wu and Mira dropped a straight-set decision to California’s Jana Juricova and Zsofi Susanyi, 6-0, 7-5.
It not only brings the end of the season for Vanderbilt, but also caps the collegiate career of Jackie Wu.
The pair was able to top last year’s Commodore doubles appearance by Rachael Dillon and Alex Leatu, who fell in the first round in 2010.
