Championship Central | Doubles Bracket (Entering Round of 16) 
ATHENS, Ga. — After getting into the NCAA Division I Doubles Championship at the last minute as an alternate, the Vanderbilt pairing of Jackie Wu and Lauren Mira had no intention of going home early.
The pair scored a straight-set victory over Oklahoma’s Marie-Pier Huet and Whitney Ritchie, 6-4, 7-5.
The Commodore pair will now move on to Friday’s round of 16, where they will take on California’s Jana Juricova and Zsofi Susanyi. The Golden Bear tandem upset seventh-seeded Kristi Boxx and Abby Guthrie of Ole Miss.
The match is set for Friday, May 25, at Georgia’s Dan Magill Tennis Complex. It will get underway at 2:00 p.m. CT.
