ATHENS, Ga. — The 16th-ranked Vanderbilt women’s tennis team fell in the NCAA Round of 16 to top-ranked Stanford, 4-0, Friday at the Dan Magill Tennis Center.
The Cardinal took the doubles’ point with wins on courts one and three. The Commodore pairing of Taka Bertrand and Catherine Newman led their match on court two, 6-3, when play was suspended.
