Women’s Tennis Travels To SEC Fall Coaches Classic 11/7/2003 Four Commodores will compete in Peachtree City, Ga. Peachtree City, Ga. — Four members of the Vanderbilt women’s tennis team will be in action this weekend at the three-day Southeastern Conference Fall Coaches Classic, hosted at the Peachtree City Tennis Center. Junior Audra Falk and Annie Menees, sophomore Ashley Schellhas and freshman Helene Stephens will all take part in the tournament, which features over 60 players from around the league. The tournament is broken into four singles draws and two doubles draws, with singles action beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT. In the A Singles draw, top-seeded Falk will take on Kentucky’s Sarah Foster, while Schellhas will face Petra Bercik of Auburn. Menees will open the B Singles draw against Camila Caliari of LSU, with Stephens facing Justine Walsh of South Carolina in the C Singles draw. The doubles draws will begin Friday afternoon. Menees and Falk again will pair up, taking on Sauerborn and Suitor from Auburn in first round action of the A Doubles draw. In the B Doubles draw, Schellhas and Stephens will face Blakeley and Koon of South Carolina on Friday. The SEC Fall Coaches Classic will play through Sunday.
