Women’s Tennis: Final Results at Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Amanda Fish, Amanda Taylor, Liberty Sveke, and Catherine Newman all took flight titles at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic this weekend in Tuscaloosa.
 
Senior Amanda Fish defeated both Catrina and Christian Thompson, two Notre Dame standouts, to take the Crimson Singles flight win. Catherine Newman and Liberty Sveke earned straight set wins to take their flights in blue and red singles.
 
Taylor and Fish teamed up to take the White Doubles flight title after defeating Notre Dame’s Brooke Buck and Kelcy Tefft 9-7 in round 3 of the tournament.
 
Next up for the Commodores will be the Furman Invitational in South Carolina this weekend.
